What's the difference between recycling rate and landfill diversion rate?
Recycling rate only counts material that is genuinely recycled. Landfill diversion rate also counts waste that is reused directly or incinerated with energy recovery — both legitimately avoid landfill even though neither is "recycling" in the strict sense. VerdCore tracks both, so reports are specific about which figure is being quoted.
Does waste tracking feed into my carbon reporting?
