Yes. Every fuel, materials, transport and waste entry is converted to kg CO₂e using the current DEFRA GHG conversion factors and automatically sorted into Scope 1, 2 or 3 under the GHG Protocol, so your split is ready whenever a tender or client asks for it.
Can VerdCore generate a PPN 006 Carbon Reduction Plan?
Yes. VerdCore produces a PPN 006-ready Carbon Reduction Plan from your logged emissions data, following the UK Government's required template — baseline and current emissions, the mandatory Scope 3 categories, reduction measures and director sign-off. PPN 006 replaced PPN 06/21 for procurements advertised on or after 24 February 2025; the required content of the plan is unchanged, so the same export serves both.
Does VerdCore support PAS 2080 reporting?
Yes. VerdCore generates a PAS 2080:2023-aligned report covering whole-life carbon across capital, operational and end-of-life stages, built from the same site data used for your other carbon reports.
What emission factors does VerdCore use?
VerdCore uses the official UK Government DEFRA greenhouse gas conversion factors for the current reporting year, so every calculation is methodologically traceable and stands up to scrutiny from clients, auditors or assessors.
